Here at SkiBound International we understand that preparing yourself and your child for a school ski tour can be a very stressful experience. We are here to help guide you step by step on how to prepare for your child's tour and are available to answer any questions that you may have.

What to pack
SkiBound International provide all Skis, Boots, Poles and Helmets. There are certain important items of clothing which are highly recommended. The majority of these items can be hired or borrowed rather than bought.

  • Ski Jacket
  • Salopettes or Ski Pants
  • Long-johns
  • Polo-neck or Shirts
  • Pullovers or Sweatshirts
  • Ski Gloves
  • Apres-ski boots or heavy waterproof shoes
  • House shoes or slippers
  • Thick socks (preferably not wool)
  • Ski Goggles
  • Good quality Sunglasses (with a cord, if possible)
  • Scarf and Hat
  • Lip salve and high protection sun cream

 

What to budget for
Your personalised tour quotation will clearly identify what is and isn't included in the price. Based on our experience, we recommend that you budget for the following;

  • Evening entertainments
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Prizes/Awards for students
  • Provision for initial medical expenses

Insurance Policy
All groups that travel with SkiBound International have fully comprehensive insurance. Our insurance is tailored specifically for International School Ski groups to provide reassurance and support at all times.

Cover for Parents
SkiBound International understand that committing to a a trip 18 months before departure can be difficult. Our insurance will also cover all payments made for a child who becomes unable to travel due to parental redundancy.

For the new 10/11 Ski season SkiBound International have created an Educational Enrichment programme. These specific courses have been developed to meet the increasing demand for providing more learning opportunities from your trip. Not only will your students be able to benefit from building self-confidence, spending time relaxing as a group and learning a new sport but may also like to benefit from developing language skills and learning about the local economy, cuisine and culture.
