A fabulous winter wonderland of skiing! Stowe is a typical New England village with a 200 year history and full of charm and character. It is one of the oldest as well as one of the largest ski resorts in the East and beautifully combines quaint traditions with the very
latest in ski technology.
Resort
Stowe is blessed with a sizeable annual snowfall and also boasts some of the longest trails in the Eastern United States. The resort has made a huge investment in snow making and trail-grooming equipment, maintaining ski conditions from mid-November to mid-April. Experience the thrill of New England’s highest and longest night skiing, available from Thursday to Saturday until mid March.
Ski Level
The resort consists of two distinctive mountains, Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak, and the adjacent Spruce Peak which is a dedicated hill for learning to ski. Together they offer ski terrain of all levels of difficulty from novice to expert.
Snowboarding
Stowe offers one of the best snowboarding experiences on the East Coast, with a huge variety of half pipes and terrain parks to choose from.
