Its a well-known fact that snow sports enthusiasts have flocked to the Alps to enjoy the snow-sure, high-altitude slopes for decades. What people don't realise is that once the snow melts the landscape is bursting with life, perfect for summer tours, providing an excellent mixture of both educational and physical activities. The green alpine paradise, along with the fresh air and beautiful scenery, creates a very enjoyable and beneficial outside learning experience.
The summer months in the Alps are absolutely fantastic. The educational enrichment, outdoor activities and cultural excursions make this destination ideal for school groups. Brought to in partnership with Peak Horizon, we are excited to be able to offer our schools some fantastic summer camp opportunities in locations renowned for alpine sports, adventure and education.

We understand how difficult and time consuming planning a group tour can be, therefore we have done out utmost to provide a varied choice of programmes and activities spilt into 3 main categories; Activity, Education and Adventure. We can of course mix and match all the activities available, creating a tailor-made tour to fulfil all your specific requirements.
Activity
This category is primarily recreational, sports and leisure based offering youngsters the opportunity to make the most of the local amenities in such an exceptional environment; mini golf, tennis courts and swimming pools. The unique mountainous setting enables us to offer unique experiences such as summer sledging, guided mountain walks and Alpine adventure play parks. These activities are designed to suit all ages, interests, abilities and budgets.
Excursions may also be included for a half or full-day to a regional theme park, tourist attraction or city.
Education
Field study projects unquestionably boost knowledge, understanding and awareness of the subject matter alongside the development of key skills such as data collection and analysis.
- Geographical investigation opportunities are second to none here thanks the natural, human and urban characteristics of the region. Alongside glacial studies, students can really focus on core themes such as population, fluvial features, climate change and settlements.
- Language studies are an obvious choice too. We arrange for French and English courses to be run in conjunction with your stay featuring practical, fun and confidence boosting exercises in all disciplines of the language.
- Cultural and artistic interests are abundant here. France is of course arguably the most prestigious wine making nation in the world. It also boasts an unrivalled wealth of history, art and architecture which is meticulously preserved and readily accessible to visitors.
- Sporting opportunities in these destinations are boundless, with something to offer everyone in an entirely more challenging environment brought about by the altitude variation. More bespoke choices may include summer skiing, Via Ferrata and mountain biking in addition to numerous on-site facilities available such as multi-sports courts, tennis and archery.
Adventure
This third category boasts a select choice of adrenaline driven activities. This is essentially a once in a lifetime opportunity as only the combination of natural, geographical characteristics and the unique infrastructures on-site make many of these activities possible. Popular choices include, white water rafting, canyoning, hydro-speed, downhill mountain biking snowboarding and rock climbing. Rest assured that all our instructors are professionally trained and qualified and we are highly vigilant when sourcing equipment suppliers.
